A donation-based community event for movement, expression, and connection.

HeartSpace is more than just a dance event — it’s a gathering place for anyone who wants to feel, move, and express themselves freely in a safe, supportive environment.
Rooted in contemporary dance and open to all levels, HeartSpace invites you to connect with your body, your emotions, and your community.

Choose Your Own Experience

At HeartSpace, there’s no “right” way to participate. You decide how you want to engage:

Join One of Our Games

If you want to participate in a game, you can choose from one of three creative improv challenges:

  • Prompt Roulette: Freestyle for 2 minutes to a random prompt.

  • Music Roulette: Freestyle for 2 minutes to a random song. Styles may vary beyond contemporary music.

  • Showcase: Choose your own song within the contemporary realm and share a 2-minute freestyle performance.

You may only sign up for one game, and spots are limited.
After grabbing your donation ticket below, be sure to fill out the form beneath the ticket section to select your game for event day.

If you sign up with a friend to perform a duet, that counts as both of your single game slots.

Freestyle

Dance freely during our open session hour or in between games. Move however you feel — there are no expectations here.

Breath Work Workshops

Join our guided breath work sessions to open and close the event — a time to ground, release, and reset.

Explore Vendors

Browse local vendors offering handmade goods, art, and creative services.

Grab a Bite

Enjoy a selection of food and drinks from our on-site food truck.

Hold Space

If you prefer not to dance, you’re invited to simply observe, support, and hold space for others as they express themselves.

What to Expect

  • A curated playlist of contemporary and ambient music

  • A welcoming, judgment-free environment

  • Local vendors and community connections

  • Optional filming for dancers who wish to document their movement

HeartSpace is about creating a room that feels safe to feel — a place where movement becomes freedom, and freedom builds community.

STEP 1: Grab Your Donation Ticket!
A donation ticket is required for entry and serves as your admission. You can purchase this ticket below. Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom of this page and sign up for a game if you would like to participate in this way.

Suggested Donation: $15
Pay What You Can — this event is meant to be accessible to everyone.
If you can only give $1, that’s perfectly fine. We’re creating a space in Las Vegas where you can express yourself freely, without worry about cost.

Special Thank-Yous:

  • Donations of $25 or more — entered into a drawing for one free DMD class in 2026

  • Donations of $75 or more — entered into a drawing for one free DMD Video Intensive in 2026
